Teaching Professional
Andrew’s passion for golf began
young; as a competitive player in both the junior SCPGA and AJGA, he
successfully placed 2nd in state. His Love for the game grew
as he furthered his education in the field. As a graduate from the Golf
Academy of America (formerly know as the San Diego Golf Academy), he
holds an Associate of Business Degree toward Golf Complex Operations
and Management, with an emphasis with an emphasis in Golf Professional
and General Management. His years of experience in the Golf Industry
include; playing competitively, sales, club fitting and teaching.
Andrew began his career in golf as a
professional club fitter and golf instructor at Olney Golf Park. He is
currently in the PGA Apprentice Program and is a professional golf
instructor at Alhambra Golf Course. Andrew provides lessons in both
English and Mandarin. His passion teaching golf stems from seeing
others excel in the game. His patience and Knowledge of golf allows him
to teach both beginning and advanced players. His background in competitive
golfing allows him to effectively guide and prepare golfers in the
right direction both mentally and physically.
Andrew uses a variety of training aids that
help students develop muscle memory. By utilizing his iPad, he is able
to incorporate modern video technology into his lessons, giving
