What are your hours of operation?

The course is open 6:00 AM – 11:00 PM, seven days a week. The driving range is open until midnight daily (11:00 PM during winter months). The range is closed every Monday mornings until 12:00 PM for routine maintenance. (Except when a holiday falls on a Monday. We then move maintenance until Tuesday morning.) 

How can I book a tee time?

You can book tee times online through our website at www.alhambragolf.com, by phone at (626) 570-5059 ext. 2, or through the mobile app. Our lowest rates are always found when booking online.  

How far in advance can I book a tee time?

7 days in advance 

Do you offer golf lessons or clinics?

Yes, Alhambra Golf Course offers comprehensive golf instruction through contracted golf professionals. Several instructors are PGA-certified instructors including Aimee Cho (LPGA Class A, TPI & TPI Jr Level 2 Certified), Stephen Knittle (PGA), Michelle Lo (LPGA) and Mikey Yokoi (PGA).

What kind of lessons or clinics do you offer?

Alhambra offers private lessons, group lessons for adults and juniors, and specialized programs which are available through the instructors. We also host ACE GOLF ACADEMY, which has been providing instruction to players of all levels since 1987. Instructors must be contacted individually. 

Are carts available, and is there a cart fee?

Yes, golf carts are available. All golf carts are designated for two riders per reservation. Single rider carts are available upon request for an additional fee of $35 per person (reduced to $25 for twilight rounds) and are subject to availability. Exceptions are made for groups with odd numbers of players. Cart fees are included in online tee time pricing.

Do you provide rental clubs or other equipment?

Yes, our award-winning golf shop offers rental clubs and demo clubs, as well as the latest apparel, accessories, and equipment.  

Is there a dress code?

Yes. Collared shirts are recommended; t-shirts are permitted. NO tank tops, bare feet, or swimwear allowed. Proper golf attire is required at all times. 

Do you have practice facilities (driving range, putting green)?

Yes, Alhambra Golf Course features a three-level lighted driving practice facility (Launch Zone powered by Toptracer) with protection from sun and rain. Facilities include a driving range, short-game area (chipping/pitching areas), a practice putting green and a large newly renovated practice bunker.

Are children allowed on the course?

Yes, children are welcome. The course is family-friendly and suitable for juniors. Alhambra offers a Junior rates for $1.15 any day/any time and receive 50% discount on driving range balls, up to 2 buckets daily until 4:00 PM.  

Do you have water stations on the course?

Yes, there are several drinking fountains located throughout the course including on holes number 4, 7, clubhouse area, 11 and 16.   

What types of tournaments or events are hosted at Alhambra Golf Course?

Alhambra Golf Course hosts various tournaments and events throughout the year. The Almansor Golf Club (AMGC), associated with the course, holds monthly tournaments for members, as well as special events including the Club Championship, President’s and Vice President’s Cups, and the Director’s Invitational. The course also accommodates private golf outings and tournaments for groups of 16 to 140 players, which may be scheduled up to one year in advance.

Are there twilight or weekday specials at Alhambra Golf Course?

Yes, Alhambra Golf Course offers several specials:
Mid-day Golf Special: Monday-Thursday 12-2 PM tee times include a FREE medium bucket of balls for the LaunchZone Range (limited time offer) 
Twilight rates: Available with reduced single-rider cart fees ($25 instead of $35) 
Best rates online: The lowest rates are always found when booking directly through the website 

Does Alhambra Golf Course have on-site dining or a bar?

Yes, the Almansor Grill is located in the clubhouse. This local favorite restaurant serves classic American fare for breakfast and lunch, including omelets, French toast, hash browns, burritos, club sandwiches, tuna melts, and more.. 

Is there a pro shop at Alhambra Golf Course? What do they offer?

Yes, Alhambra Golf Course has an award-winning pro shop (Southern California PGA Merchandiser of the Year). The shop offers the latest golf apparel, accessories, equipment, rental clubs, demo clubs, gift cards and customizable Alhambra gear from favorite brands in various colors and sizes. 

Are there any unique features of Alhambra Golf Course?

The signature 16th hole is a tricky par 5 that begins with an intimidating tee shot over water. The course is known for its challenging yet friendly greens with interesting slopes and ridges. The three-level driving range with Toptracer technology provides protection from sun and rain and stays open until midnight. 

Do you issue rain checks or refunds for cancellations?

The course requests cancellations at least 24 hours before your tee time. Rain checks are  not issued refunds are also not issued once round has started. Please contact the course directly at (626) 570-5059 additional information. 

Can I book online or only by phone?

You can book both online and by phone. Online booking through www.alhambragolf.com offers the lowest rates. Phone reservations at (626) 570-5059 are also available but may be subject to higher prices. The Troon mobile app is also available for booking. 

How busy is the course on weekends?

The golf course tends to be very busy on weekends. Tournaments tend to be more active during weekends. For current course conditions and tee time availability, contact (626) 570-5059 ext. 2. 

Do you allow riders that are not playing golf?

Yes, spectators are allowed on the golf course based on golf shop policy and procedure. Spectators are charged $17.20 per person. 

Do you allow food and beverage to be carried on?

What is the difficulty of the course?

Alhambra Golf Course is described as player-friendly and fun, not frustratingly long and difficult. At 5,478 yards, it’s ideal for beginners while still offering plenty of challenges for experienced players. The course rating is 65.6 with a slope rating of 115. The front nine is fairly flat with generous fairways, while the back nine features more challenging terrain with elevation changes and strategically placed bunkers.

Do your golf carts have GPS?

Our carts are not equipped with GPS, however downloading the Alhambra Golf app gives you access to GPS and scoring options.  

Do you pair groups of less than 4?
